Product Description

Opti-Ca™ HB H - Low solids slurry is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions as a rosette form of calcite crystal structure. The controlled growth produces a range of fine particle sizes and a narrow size distribution.

Application

When used as the prime papermaking filler, Opti-Ca™ HB H ensures high bulk, opacity and brightness.
Opti-Ca™ HB H is recommended for use as a filler in both uncoated and coated woodfree papers. It can also be used with Imerys' neutrally buffered process technology for groundwood papers.
