E160 kaolin
Product Description
E160 is a shape-engineered kaolin designed specifically for lightweight coated grades. Superior coverage, sheet gloss, optics and printability can be expected.
Application
E160 is a unique shape-engineered pigment that can be applied at the same solids as regular delaminated clays. Improvements in sheet gloss, smoothness and optics result from superior coverage provided by this shape-engineered coating clay. An improvement in quality or cost savings from reduced plastic pigment, TIO2, and/or calcined clay can be achieved. A major benefit of E160 is maintaining gloss when incorporating carbonate into LWC formulators.
Shipping
E160 is available in slurry, dry bulk and 1000 kg bag. For more information regarding shape-engineered coating clays, please contact us.
