E100 kaolin
Product Description
E100 is a premium fine shape-engineered kaolin designed for single coated LWC applications or CWF and board pre-coat applications when blended with blocky co-pigments.
Application
E100 is particularly effective in single coated LWC grades where coating coverage is a key driver for sheet gloss, smoothness and opacity. The excellent fiber coverage can allow a reduction in coat weight, titanium dioxide and/or plastic pigment. In pre-coat applications the improved coverage may allow the papermaker to reduce calendering or produce a rougher base sheet, thus improving sheet bulk.
