Astra-Sheen™ is a premium ultra-fine coating kaolin designed for the highest quality coated freesheet and board production where high brightness, blue-white shade, sheet smoothness and gloss are critical.
Application
Astra-Sheen™ exhibits ultra fine size, superior high shear rheology, and can be formulated with optimum levels of calcium carbonate in high solids, high speed coating applications with improved runnability compared to standard high brightness coating clays.
