Product Description
Astra-Plate™ is a premium, delaminated kaolin used worldwide in the production of a variety of
paper grades.
Application
Astra-Plate™ is designed to provide excellent coating coverage, ink hold-out, and print quality at low
coat weights. It can be used as a pre-coat pigment, in size press coatings, and in top coating
applications for coated paper and paperboard. Astra-Plate™ can also be used as a filler pigment when
brightness and less porosity are desired.
