Astra-Glaze™ is a regular brightness, fine #1 particle size, coating kaolin applied worldwide in the production of a variety of paper grades.

Application

The fine particle size of Astra-Glaze™ contributes to sheet gloss and coater performance. It is particularly effective in paper coatings with calcium carbonate due to its ease of gloss development. Astra-Glaze™ is a versatile pigment, ideally suited for top coating applications in the production of coated paper and paperboard.
