Product Description
Deltatex™ is a low viscosity calcined pigment designed for high speed paper and paperboard coating applications. As a result of its low viscosity, Deltatex™ can be applied in coating formulations at high concentrations and at high application solids while maintaining excellent coating color rheology.
Application
Deltatex™ has a carefully controlled porous structure with high internal void volume. Pore size and distribution have been optimized to provide maximum light scatter and oil absorption. As a result of this light scattering porous structure, coatings containing Deltatex™ have high brightness and opacity as well as excellent ink receptivity. Deltatex™ can be used to replace Titanium Dioxide while improving printability in both offset and rotogravure applications.
