operations in an environmentally responsible manner the areas
where kaolin is extracted are permanently revegetated.
After the mining process, kaolin is transferred to the Company´s
Plant through a 158 kilometer pipeline. Upon arrival at the plant
in Barcarena the product is further processed using centrifuges,
magnetic separators, filtration, various drying techniques (tube
presses, evaporators and spray drying) to achieve the required
final products.
This is a carefully controlled beneficiation process so that
quality is assured.
