Since the start-up of operations in 1996,
IMERYS
Pigments
for Paper have continued to make significant investment in
the
IRCC
kaolin assets. During 2007, a further expansion of
capacity took place, in order to transition customers to its
Capim
TM
range of coating kaolins, following the closure of the
coating kaolin production assets in Cornwall, UK. In addition,
there was a further expansion of its `Tube-Press' capacity,
which provided an opportunity for further growth of both
its filler grade kaolins and a new grade targeted at the
rotogravure market.
An efficient global logistics infrastructure is essential to the
business. With our network of shipping lines, forwarding
agents, local carriers and distribution centres, we are able to
provide a high quality, cost-effective and reliable service for
the customer, wherever they are located.
