focussed on meeting the needs of the world's major paper
makers. Excellent mineral reserves, high quality production
assets, logistics efficiency, world class technical and commercial
expertise and a robust sustainable development strategy are

With an extensive product portfolio of kaolin, ground calcium
carbonates, precipitated calcium carbonates, we are uniquely
positioned to provide comprehensive multi-pigment solutions
to the global paper industry. Each of these pigments is a key
component in the coating and filling formulations that
increase the value of paper by enhancing its appearance
and print quality.
Advanced technological expertise, comprising an in-depth
knowledge of minerals and the specific properties they provide
to the paper producer's end products allows us to form long
lasting partnerships with our global customers. The
IMERYS
Pigments for Paper business is organised into four sales
organisations: Asia, Europe, North America and South America.
Each regional team is specifically focussed to manage the
changing needs of the global paper industry. In accordance with
our sustainable development strategy, we are committed to an
environmental policy that minimises and reverses the effects of
large-scale mining. Whenever industrial minerals are removed
from the ground, it is inevitable that the landscape will be
altered, and an ambitious programme of land reclamation and
landscape restoration is in place to improve the visual impact
of our operational areas. We view it as sound commercial
practice to take care of the environment, comply with
legislation, and respect the wishes of the local inhabitants.
